Closer to the conventions.

It's may the 1st and the conventions are getting closer and closer, on the republican side Ted Cruz has joined forces with Carly Fiorina, and he has nominated her for his vice presidential spot, but trump still has a great lead, can lying Ted beat him now? we'll just have to wait and see.

Wyoming feeling the Bern

As of this weekend, it seems that more and more states are begging to feel the Bern, this weekend Bernie sanders took all 14 delegates in Wyoming and left Clinton with none, this weekend only one state hosted a caucus on the democratic side. Clinton and her campaign need to clinch a win in her home state of New york, although she still leads in delegates, there is no time to relax she needs to get more momentum if she wants to be the Democratic Nominee come this November.

Presidential candidate update.

As you bloggers my know Marco Rubio dropped out of the race after losing his home state of Florida to Donald Trump, now that leaves only 3 contenders for the GOP nomination. Many have taken to the streets to protest Trump  and have actually cancelled many of his rallies which could be the beginning of the end for trump, who knows is this Tycoon will be the nominee but let’s hope not. 

A Heated Race

This past week many votes were casted on super Tuesday, Hillary Clinton on the democratic side and Donald Trump on the republican side came out as big winners, Clinton leads in delegates and super delegates with a total of 1,130, while Bernie Sanders has a total of 499, Sanders vows not to give up, and says he will continue all the way till the convention in July. Many of the republicans have vowed that they will try to stop trump, because he is the clear front runner with 384 delegates, not all republicans are against him, will they be able to stop the Trump machine, for the sake of the United States I really do hope so.

Clinton and Trump take the gold!

Primaries for both the Republican and Democratic Parties were held in South Carolina and Nevada, respectively.  On the democratic side in Nevada, Hillary Clinton took the win with a 52.7% while Bernie Sanders got 47.3% of the vote. This win was a big step towards the Presidency for Hillary Clinton; however, she needs to keep up the momentum.  Although she is ahead, Sanders can catch up at any time. On the Republican side Donald Trump took a big win in South Carolina with 32.5% of the vote while Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz fell to second and third places. Many thought Rubio would take the win in the palmetto state because of Governor Nikki Haley’s endorsement but he fell short.  If Marco Rubio wants to be the candidate for the Republican Party he needs to win the State of Nevada.  In the mean time Ted Cruz and Donald Trump continue arguing, which will eventually hurt the Republican Party and may just concede the Presidency to the Democratic Party.  

Primary Buzz

So you all may know that Trump is leading in the primaries as of now, he came up with a win in New Hampshire with 35.3% of the vote after coming in second after Cruz in Iowa. Trump didn’t consider it as any type of loss but a gain in his campaign, which he hopes is the start to a future “president Trump” which I hope never happens. I am 100% democrat but I would rather another candidate in the republican side be the republican nominee, as for the democrats, Sanders won Huge with a 60.4% of the vote compared to Clinton’s 38.0%, She’s going to have to come up with a win in Nevada and South Carolina to keep up her lead

Republican Non-sense.

So as you bloggers well know there are still many candidates in the race for the White House on the Republican side, compared to only two main candidates on the Democrat side.  Democrats and Republicans have very different goals envisioned for our Nation for example, health care and taxes to name a few. Donald Trump seems to be the “front runner” for the Republican Party, however, Ted Cruz seems to be nipping at his toes. Cruz was able to win the state of Iowa on February 2^nd at the states caucus with a 27.6 percent beating Trump and Rubio. Although, Trump and Rubio were not far behind.   We will have to wait and see how the New Hampshire Primary goes and hopefully we will not see a Trump win in this state.  If we do, then our country could see major changes.
